Chapter 1

From his young age, King wondered why he's named King Grandhero. He wasn't a king or anything. He didn't even own royal blood, whatever that was. There was no royalty in Jamaa, and peace was kept like that. Except that there are scammers and hackers.
"Come on, King ugly looser!" teased Large Icypaw. "Give me your founder's hat!"
King backed away from the evil brown Arctic wolf. University was easy in studies, but with all these evil kids? Out of the question. "No way, Large. I used all my hard work to obtain this treasure. I worked for it- literally!" He remembered all the moments he used to earn money just to buy a Founder's Hat.
Large took a step forwards, ready to snatch the hat, but he was disturbed by a flick of a tail. "Hi, King. What's the mane problem?" asked a female's voice. It was a crocodile of various shades of purple. Her eyes were sky blue, King's favourite colour.
"Nothing, Twinkle," said King. Twinkle Magicstar was King's best friend since college. Even though King's a lion, and Twinkle's a crocodile, that didn't change the fact they were good friends. Twinkle could see through every of King's lies...
"Nothing?" scoffed Twinkle. "He's bullying you! You gotta stand up for yourself, King!"
King sighed. He was rather much kind-hearted and all. Twinkle was his opposite. Sometimes, though, he felt a tug on his heart that he likes her. "You gotta look less rare, King. Even if you're the King of the Beasts!" Twinkle snapped, her eyes glittering. Her informal words struck King.
"Stop making puns related to lions!" King roared. Twinkle didn't even feel offended. She just smiled instead. Her smile told him: perfect! "Stop being evil also."
Twinkle swung her tail. "Me? Evil?" She laughed. Her laughter like melodious chimes striking each other. Each laughter sounds like magic. "I'm not evil. I'm just more brutal and I stand for myself more than you do."
The two were walking to class. "Meet me after school in front of the school's fountain, King. I'll see you there," said Twinkle before she disappeared from his sight. She joined the throng of animals going to their each class.

Author's Note: What do you think Twinkle want to tell King? What do you think of the first short and still boring chapter?
